The Old Gods take heavy inspiration from Cthulhu and Lovecraft mythos and are favorite adversaries among World of Warcraft fans. N’Zoth is one of the four known Old Gods who inhabited Azeroth, and the one that appeared most recently in modern World of Warcraft. Additionally, the shake features strawberry pieces floating within it that look suspiciously like the red eyes of the Old God. However, the drink is sitting on the warped landscape of Ny’alotha–the raid where the N’Zoth was fought in Battle for Azeroth. On its official Twitter page, it shared an image of a purple shake. Now, World of Warcraft has joined the many celebrities, content creators, and games getting in on the Grimace Shake meme. Recently, McDonald’s introduced the limited-time Grimace Shake–a berry-flavored beverage celebrating the return and birthday of the eponymous purple mascot character. Prominently featuring a cameo from its own purple eldritch horror, World of Warcraft’s Grimace Shake looks as delicious as it does deadly. World of Warcraft just got in on the viral Grimace Shake meme with a hilarious picture featuring a N’Zoth-themed beverage of their own.
